Overview for the Sokkia DT740 7" Electronic Digital Theodolite Dual Display
Designed for construction and layout application, the Sokkia DT740 7 Second Digital Theodolite features superior optics, advanced absolute encoder and tilt sensors for precise angle measurements. This optical instrument provides surveyors with exceptional viewing quality with its telescope’s 30X magnification and 2.5-inch resolving power.
Integrated absolute encoder improves the reliability of angle measurement by using advanced algorithm and digital sampling technology. When the instrument is restarted, the azimuth is automatically restored to save time on the job site.
Selection of Display Modes
You can select the angle display unit that best suits you. Horizontal angle is switchable between clockwise and counterclockwise, angle hold and zero-set functions are also provided.
Right-Angle Sound Notification
The DT740 survey instrument produces audible tones for each of the four right-angle directions once the zero horizontal angle direction is determined. It sounds two different tones within ±15 degrees of 90 degrees and stops beeping when it comes within ±1 degree.
Easy to Use and Control
Featuring a simple four-key operation, dual backlit LCD displays and an integrated reticle illuminator, this Sokkia theodolite offers construction professionals with clear angle readings and the convenience work in low light conditions.
Tough Construction with Long Battery Life
Complying with the IP-66 standard for resistance to dust and water, the Sokkia DT740 provides superior dependability even under harsh environmental conditions. It uses four AA alkaline batteries for up to 150 hours of operating time and works for two to five weeks without changing batteries depending on usage.
This Sokkia theodolite package comes with a hard carrying case, lens cap, plumb bob, tool pouch, vinyl cover, cleaning cloth, batteries and 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
