Overview for the Spectra GL710 Grade Laser
Accurate up to 3,000 feet, the Spectra GL710 is an automatic, self-leveling single grade construction laser suitable for site preparation, trenching, pipe-laying and machine control. It includes an HL700 laser receiver for digital readout of elevation and NiCad batteries for long lasting performance.
The GL710 laser level features -0.5 to 25% grade range on a single axis and self-levels to 10%, making it ideal for general construction applications. You can mount this device on a 5/8-11 tripod thread.
Spectra HL700 Laser Detector
The included HL700 Laserometer is an easy-to-use rod mounted tool that accurately measures elevations across the site. Ideal for use with any rotating Spectra grade laser, it features a digital readout of elevation that provides a numeric display of +/-2 inches. The readout is displayed on the large front and rear LCDs and shows exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. Accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp and selectable units of measure can be displayed in millimeter, centimeter, feet, inches or fractional inches.
With a large five-inch reception height, the Spectra HL700 laser detector acquires the beam quickly and makes it easy to stay in the beam. Excavation mode puts more reception height and elevation information above grade for higher utilization in digging and staking applications. It also has a capture function that remotely captures and retains a measurement when the display is difficult to see.
Extra Features
The Spectra Precision GL710’s large alphanumeric display is visible from the ground even on ten foot tripods. It also has active temperature compensation that gives accurate, stable results regardless of temperature changes.
With fully sealed aluminum housing and protective lens hood, the GL710 laser is dustproof and water resistant. It also has a battery life indicator and operated sleep mode that saves power during breaks. This grade slope laser uses NiCad rechargeable batteries.
This Spectra grade laser package comes with a HL700 laser receiver, hard carrying case, NiCad rechargeable batteries, charger, power cable and a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
