Overview for the Ashtech ProMark 120 Receiver with L1/L2 GPS/GLONASS
The Ashtech ProMark 120 Receiver from Spectra allows survey professionals to quickly and accurately map locations for efficient land survey, RTK, GNSS and even GIS applications. As an upgrade to the ProMark 100, this survey GPS contains an external ASH661 L1/L2 antenna that can track both GPS and GLONASS signals, on-board field software, Windows programs and upgradeable options such as NTRIP/DIP, RTK and GLONASS, for a versatile survey solution.
Spectra’s Updated Blade Technology
The Ashtech Z-Blade technology on board the ProMark 120 uses both GPS and GLONASS satellites to obtain a GNSS position in obstructed survey sites. This updated Spectra-exclusive technology not only increases accuracy, it also allows the device to get a real time kinematic (RTK) fix even if there are no GPS satellites available.
Extended Range and Accuracy
When utilizing the included ASH661 external antenna, the ProMark 120 can obtain an RTK fix with 1 cm accuracy in as fast as 15 seconds. With a typical range of up to 25 miles, it can measure wide areas and triangulate horizontal And vertical positions.
On Board ProMark Field Software
The ProMark 120 comes with Ashtech ProMark Field software 3.0 for processing and analyzing GNSS survey data. This intuitive, user-friendly software provides all the necessary tools for post-processing survey data as well as simple real time kinematics (RTK) jobs, including raw data recording, rover and base configurations, stake out and more.
Windows Mobile Operating System
Equipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, the ProMark 120 GNSS receiver comes with familiar software packages such as GNSS Toolbox, ActiveSync and Internet Explorer. In addition to wireless GPRS and Bluetooth connectivity, this survey grade GPS device has a built-in memory of 256 MB that is expandable up to 2GB. The GPS recievers' embedded OS also supports 10 different languages.
